The surgery went well. His tendons & ligaments have healed, to the point where a replacement appliance was considered unnecessary. So it was not replaced. This should stop all of the pain he has been in. With therapy, it is expected that he will be again to regain more movement in the arm than he has had, but will not be able to fully extend the elbow.
He was discharged from the hospital last night. Thank you for your prayers.
I love you Daddy!

UPDATE: Walter has been going up yesterday and today to the farm to cut up a large tree down in the pasture and to check up on Daddy. Daddy was doing pretty good yesterday. Going kind of crazy from being completely inactive. Walter said that today he was in a bit of pain. The bandage was sticking to his arm. He wasn't supposed to go in to see the doctor until next week, but he will probably go into his regular doc in CG tomorrow to have them change the bandage before next week. But he is definitely doing better than he was with the first surgery last year.
