Our 8 year old goldfish died last month. I realized I didn't like seeing an empty aquarium, so I went and got 2 new fish. The gold one is called "Mutt" and the white one is "Jeff". (Mutt and Jeff was a long-popular American newspaper comic strip created by cartoonist Bud Fisher in 1907.)

I lost Goldie 2 weeks ago. He was the last one of the fish I got 18 years ago. I know what you mean about having an empty tank. I emptied and cleaned my tank. Jena Mikal said she has a heater that she isn't using that I could. Instead of goldfish, I am going to get some tetra fish. It's going to take a little while to get the tank re-set up for the different fish. Very sad to see an empty tank. I like your new fish. Fish are fun to watch.
Mutt & Jeff are way cool names!
