So now all 5 daughters and all 9 grandchildren are here at the farm. We plan to get some family photos taken tomorrow, assuming the rain lets up. If not, they will have to be taken indoors instead of in the spring garden.
Happenings in the life of the Landon family. **If you click on any of the photos that are posted, they will open up in a much larger view. I post them in a small size to save on bandwidth space.

Surprise Visit to Oregon
We flew out of Atlanta on Saturday, March 27th, to Seattle. My sister Trisha met us there, and on Sunday we drove down to Oregon to surprise my parents with a visit. And boy were they surprised!!! (The 2 sisters that live in the area only had 2 days notice that we were coming.)

Licensed Liturgical Ministers Installed
Five people were installed as Licensed Liturgical Ministers (LLM) at the church yesterday. LLMs are specially trained to serve home communions, serve as chalice bearers during church services, and assist a deacon or priest. Jon Paul was one of those installed. Weight Goal has been achieved!!!
I weighed in at my weekly Weight Watchers meeting today. I had lost another .6 pounds this week- bringing my total to 40.2 pounds. So I have now achieved all 3 goals that I had set for myself.
1) get off of the high blood pressure medicine (done in early Dec.)
2) be able to wear my wedding ring again (done about 2 1/2 weeks ago)
3) lose 40 pounds (3 months early!!!)
Now I have 6 weeks to learn how to maintain the weight. Hopefully this will be somewhat easier now that the weather is improving so I can do outside to exercise in the sunshine.
