Sad Day

Denise lost her male parakeet Archie today. He escaped from his cage, and we thought he had flown outside. We left the balcony door open most all day hoping he would fly home. Apparently he got down into the basement at some point and one of the other animals found him tonight before we did . He will buried tomorrow under the flowering dogwood tree, in a box that Jon built. Not a good way to end an Easter Sunday.
