Jon Paul sworn in by Dad
Jon Paul was sworn onto active duy today. His dad administered the oath of office.
There was a last minute change of plans- he will be doing his basic training at Ft Jackson, SC (Columbia) instead of at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Rachelle, It is an honor to service. And it brings tears to my eyes too, but joining the military is a dream Jon has had for a long time. He is eager to get through basic as the first step towards fulfilling that dream. I thank you for your prayers for him. ~Becky
