Jonathan will have to leave a lot earlier than expected for Kuwait this month. So I have decided I will wait until he gets home before I leave on our trip to Oregon. This will still give us almost 3 weeks to spend with the family. (And Mari- I think we will still make it for the Father's Day Zoo trip.)
Hopefully, this will also give me time to make sure things are progressing on the repairs needed on our North Carolina home and to maybe get some more progress on the adoption. Right now we are in a holding pattern waiting on the approval of the home study.
I will be able to attend an "Adoption Gathering" next Saturday- although without Jonathan like originally planned. One of the boys we have about mid-way on our list of potentials is expected to be there. And the nice thing is that this young man in one I really needed to know a little bit more about as he uses a wheelchair. So I go by myself as kids are not allowed (except for the ones needing adoption of course.) This is to prevent confusion about who is and who isn't available.
